Orientation is fun. I have made a lot of friends and seen some amazing things. The Marshall Appalachians Teach Abroad program really has done a great job showing us around and taking us to some tourist highlights around the Shanghai area. Activities have included: several traditional Chinese banquets, seeing the oldest garden in Shanghai (the Yu Garden), a river boat cruise of the Huangpu River, and the World Expo. After a week in Shanghai I set out towards my final destination, Zhengzhou.
